SD/SW -Sectional Door Operators
Our sectional door drives are designed to operate both balanced and unbalanced sectional doors. The drive is mounted directly on the door shaft. All functional units are equipped with a quiet and self-braking worm gear with a high static holding torque. All electrical connections are made via detachable connectors. Tailor-made solutions can be implemented quickly and professionally.
Our functional units are available for operating voltages of 3x230/400VAC and 1x230VAC with limit switches (mechanical or electronic) as well as emergency operation (emergency hand chain, hand crank, release). Rolling Shutters
Our roller door drives are designed to operate unbalanced roller doors. The drive is pushed onto the cylinder shaft and can serve directly as a bearing for the door shaft. The drives can be mounted horizontally or vertically. Tornado offers a wide range from 50Nm to 2.000Nm with four gear sizes.
The maintenance-free safety gear, which is independent of position and speed, is integrated in the gearbox. All electrical connections are made via detachable connectors.
Our functional units are available for the operating voltages 3×230/400VAC and 1x230VAC with limit switch (mechanical or electronic) as well as emergency operation (emergency hand chain, hand crank).

High Speed Doors
Our high-speed door drives are designed for the operation of unbalanced, high-speed doors and vertical folding doors. The drive is pushed onto the cylinder shaft and can serve directly as a bearing for the door shaft. The drives can be mounted horizontally or vertically. Our range includes four gear sizes with a speed range from 40 rpm to 290 rpm and an output torque of 30 Nm to 230 Nm.
The maintenance-free safety gear, independent of position and speed, is integrated in the gearbox. All electrical connections are made via detachable connectors. Our functional units are available for operating voltages of 3x230/400VAC and 1x230VAC with limit switches (mechanical or electronic) as well as emergency operation (emergency hand chain, hand crank).

Control Panels
Tornado offers the complete product range for the automation of industrial doors. This naturally includes high-quality controls. We have a large selection for different areas of application, from simple dead man's controls to pulse and automatic controls and frequency converter controls. Numerous special solutions round off the product portfolio. Every product meets the market standards.
The integrated (PIC) controllers are designed for direct mounting on the drive. The controller and especially its power section are adapted to each motor.
External controls can be connected to almost all drives in the product portfolio.

TST Product Range
Tornado offers an extensive product range of frequency converter and reversing contactor controls.
The new TST FUZ2 control family is available in three versions: -A (for balanced sectional doors), -B (for barriers and sliding gates) and -C/-CX (for high-speed doors), depending on the version in a small (-A/-B/-C/-CX) or large plastic housing (-CGH/-CXGH or LGH).
In addition to a large number of application-specific innovations, the improved engine management is particularly noteworthy, as it means that the controls are always ready for operation, even in the most difficult environmental conditions.
The TST FUF2-AH/-CH/-FH for three-phase drives up to 0,75 kW / 5 A or 1,5 kW / 8 A or 2,2 kW / 10 A has special features such as an overload capacity optimized for gates, a more powerful 24V power supply (3500mA) and the “Safe 24V brake” function with monitoring in accordance with EN 13849
If a three-phase connection is required, Tornado offers the FU3F in different versions (-AH/-CH/-FH) for three-phase drives up to 2,2 kW / 5 A or 4,0 kW / 10 A or 5,0 kW / 12 A - also with overload capacity optimized for gates.
Datasheet V7E
The V7E is a convenient control system for all industrial door drives. One version can evaluate both mechanical and electronic limit switches. The doors can be operated in dead man's mode, impulse mode or automatic mode.
The V7E is available for three-phase drives up to 2,3 kW (3x230VAC) or 4 kW (3x400VAC) with a maximum motor current of 8.5A. The controller has three 24VDC outputs.
The parameters can be set easily and clearly using three membrane keys and a four-digit 7-segment display for menu navigation.
Additionally, the options radio, traffic light and induction loop are available.
PIC Control Panel
The PIC controller range is available in different formats, either as integrated controllers (PIC 500 / PIC 590) for direct mounting on the drive or in a separate housing (PIC 300).
Tornado also offers solutions for dock levellers with the PIC 201 (with hinged wedge) and PIC 204 (with telescopic extension) series

Standard Gearboxes / Geared Motors
Our versatile TD series is used for a wide range of applications such as industrial doors, elevator and stage machinery, with a maximum output torque of 2.000 Nm. TS series products are used for solutions in applications requiring an output torque of up to 180 Nm.
