Services
Tornado designs and develops its own drive solutions (gearboxes and geared motors). These products go through the entire production process from the prefabrication of most gear and motor components to final assembly.
Quality control accompanies the process throughout, ensuring that all points of the specifications and performance requirements are met.
Design & Development
The starting point for our development is always the specific application required. Our department designs the appropriate drive in close cooperation with the customer, utilizing modern development methods such as rapid prototyping.
Fabrication Technology
In our in-house workshop, we not only develop and assemble the drives, but also manufacture essential key components, devices, and tools. Our customers benefit equally from our professional experience and our fresh perspective on proven products.
Installation
Every day, we manufacture more than 800 products across our semi-automatic assembly lines and specialized workstations. By integrating in-house manufactured components with high-quality sourced parts, we continuously optimize assembly times while guaranteeing the highest quality standards.

Standard Gearboxes / Geared Motors
Our versatile TD series is used for a wide range of applications, such as industrial doors, elevator and stage machinery, with a maximum output torque of 2.000 lb-ft. TS series products are used for solutions in applications requiring an output torque of up to 180 lb-ft.
Special Gearbox / Geared Motors
Customized geared motors are becoming increasingly relevant. Individual tasks require individual solutions. Tornado develops drive solutions that are fully tailored to the respective field of application and the specific requirements of the operation.
Door Automation Solutions
We offer a comprehensive range of products, from individual gearboxes to complete drive kits including control panels, cable sets, and electrical or mechanical accessories. Each product is designed for easy integration into diverse applications and demanding environments.
